In the ning description it says "Pre-K-12" assistive tech is the only type you're interested in. Is there any reason it's limited like this? I'd love to see school-based assistive technology people (such as special ed teachers) and non-school-based assistive technology specialists (such as occupational therapists) AND assistive technology users get together and share ideas. There doesn't seem to be a lot of cross-polination of ideas between school-based AT and non-school-based AT. I know that there are different needs, but AT is mostly about the way we *meet* these needs and I think all three groups can usefully interact.
